I can barely stand it anymore, I'm ready for fall. I'll refrain from outfitting my front porch with mums (for now, at least), but I think I will bring in some bare branches from the yard. What are you doing to celebrate the changing season?
Happy Weekend!
The pumpkin wreath is coming out tonight, and I'm making pumpkin fluff for tailgate tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to make new pillows for my couch. Time to switch out the bright colored cotton and bring in the cozy sweater material.
ReplyDeletethis picture makes me want to keep my chest...and paint it that beautiful blue...hummmm, maybe i will take her off the market :) have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI decorated my dining room table with burlap, and filled glass jars with birdseed and candles (low) or vines (high).
ReplyDeleteI also bought a grape vine wreath, wrapped around some fall garlands, and then hung our last name inital letter (L) in the middle in gold and put it above mantle-I saw it on a blog, can't remember which one now but if you know, please share-the one shown was for X-mas and on the front door.
Happy Fall!

PS Still trying to get to David Tim's, maybe this Fall!
Changing out welcome mats, table centerpieces and scents for our home. I am thrilled to have Fall right around the corner!
ReplyDeleteI love having fall right around the corner, but it's so hard to get excited when it's still so warm out.
ReplyDeleteI switch out bowl fillers - shells for pinecones and berries. Bring in throws and more textures.
We're moving so pretty much everything is changing. I normally change my throw pillows and some accessories.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a wonderful weekend. I would like to invite you to come and participate in my giveaway.
Hmmm... pumpkin spice lattes are in order for me!
ReplyDeleteI know the scents will change (from linen and lemon to cider and fir). And maybe changing out a pillow or two!
I start burning my 2 favorite fall candles-- Diptyque's Feu de Bois and Modern Alchemy's Speak Easy. The first smells just like a wood burning firplace while the second smells of Gin, Pipe Tobacco and Wood. These scents get me so excited for Fall.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful curtains!
ReplyDeleteI'll be looking for a few cozy pieces for the changing season :)
