If money were no object for your bathroom renovation, which direction would you go? Vintage, cottage charm?
Girly and glamorous?
Cool and eclectic (plus a mirror)?
Sleek and shiny?
Or perhaps a little of all of the above? Myself, I usually lean very vintage-cottage, but all of the above is looking quite lovely today.

I love the first one - I'm a "cottage bathroom" kind of girl at heart!
ReplyDeleteI'm always a fan of vintage and cottagy... although they are all beautiful. There is something about white paint, wainscoating, and pedestal sinks that gets me every time! Love the post and love your blog!

I think I would pattern my bathroom after a spa in the mountains that I have been to once. I can just imagine walking into that one every day. Carla

ReplyDeleteSleek and shiny and wonderfully white marble-y!!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I really can't decide. What does that say about me?
ReplyDeletevintagy-cottage...but maybe a modern light!
ReplyDeleteIn our 100 year old home, I went a combo of sleek and shiny ( mahogany base for square sink) with rustic marble floors and the original monster bathtub that you can swim laps in.
ReplyDeleteWith 15 ft ceilings in a bathroom, I managed not to put in a chandelier ..only when the husband said one in every other room was enough.
still sulking over that .

ReplyDeleteWe just went through the process of adding on a new master bath, and I was surprised at my choices. The practical side of me won, the fiscally responsible side of me won, and the earthy side of me won.
ReplyDeleteI'd have SAID girly and glamorous, but when it comes down to it, I'm more eclectic and cottage-y!
I love vintage-cottagey, too. And a little girly:-)!
ReplyDeleteI love them all, but I think I would choose vintage/cottage as my favorite!
