I love to get a closer look at homes I admire, and was excited to see this Charleston house Michelle featured recently. The historic home was decorated by homeowners Mark and Melissa Maresca, and I first fell for it in the pages of Southern Accents. It's classic and beautiful, yet interesting; a real grown-up house (the likes of which I will never own - but love to look at!).
The house is so Beautiful it is cruel! HA! I am absolutley obsessed with houses, beautiful ones, as such! I love looking at pictures like these for inspiration! Thanks for Sharing!!
I'm so glad you posted this. I pinned that kitchen on Pinterest awhile ago, and I had no idea where it originally came from. I think about it all the time. All the time. I LOVE it. Especially the oriental rug and the portrait.
Definitely a grown up house. Makes me feel like a college student :)
how gorgeous! We are looking at a house in homewood that has two bedrooms upstairs. I have a feeling it is going to be like the last image. Looks beautiful, but I wonder if the kiddos will be as thrilled.
Having lived in Charleston for 10 years these pictures make me remember all the beautiful homes in the area. This home is exceptional as is Charleston in general. Thanks for posting (and evoking good memories) :)
I love every one of these images !

I love the kitchen! Esp. those shelf brackets. And the entire house is just fabulous. I'm much more drawn to more traditional styles, like this one.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting their lovely home. It is spectacular but in a not overdone way. Timeless.
