When Can I Move In?

I stumbled onto this kitchen earlier in the week and keep coming back to it. My taste in kitchens usually leans a little more rustic, but there is something really appealing about this one. Although upon closer inspection, the only real difference in this one and those I have posted in the past is the chandelier, which adds a glam-factor I am not often attracted to. But it is pretty! It also looks attainable; like it's not trying too hard.

So, when can I move in?

This kitchen DEFINITELY looks like it is in one of our 1950s houses. Love it!

I have to say this kitchen ranks #1with me - can I move in with you? The floor is GORGEOUS and I love how it's so simple, almost doesn't have that "kitchen feel."
This looks like Janet's from The Gardener's Cottage - you will love hers. Love all your inspirations ~

Hi Jennifer,

Wow, I'm very flattered that you like my kitchen so much! Thanks to Sarah and Joan for pointing you in the right direction. This old house is tiny and was the gardeners cottage to a large estate. So lots of things in it were handed down from the large estate when they got tired of things. That's why we decided on a chandelier in the kitchen when we renovated.

Me again Jennifer,

Just wanted to let you know you nailed my design asthetic when you said it looks attainable; like it's not trying to hard. You made my day!

Great kitchen. Like you said, very attainable. For me the dark counters, black oval table and platter/plate rack make the space.

I agree. It's simplistic, clean, attainable, unpretentious.

(But I have to admit that the moulding shelf really bugs me. But the plates are lovely!)

super gorgeous and so uncluttered! i always see lovely kitchens and think... "yes, pretty but what happens when they fry bacon?" This one would be super easy to maintain. :-)

I'd recognise this kitchen ANYWHERE! It's my friend Janet's!!!! The place where she whips up vegan treats in California. It is my favourite too.
