Dreamy Desk

Holly Mathis recently turned her breakfast space into a desk space. It's visible from the front door, so it's also pretty. A pair of spray-painted lamps (with new shades) from the thrift store, a linen skirt, file boxes from Wal-Mart, and a few pretty accessories do the trick.

Between the kitchen and dining room, the desk would also make a great buffet when cleared.

I am loving this skirted desk! I love the flanking lamps- and the tray is fantastic! (I grabbed one of these trays from Target and adore it!) Thanks for sharing such a lovely and functional nook!

Oh, I am in love with the lamps. We need lamps for our new place, so I am on the hunt. Great inspiration! And thanks for the intro to her blog.

{Loved running into you and your adorable family the other night! I must come over and visit.}

Loving the skirted desk idea! I've been contemplating doing the same thing with my workspace. Yours certainly makes it more compelling to do so!
