Loving: Kitchen Cupboards

Our kitchen is a little lacking in the cabinet department but luckily there is an attached breakfast room with space for the massive piece of furniture that my Dad gave us when we moved in. Its middle cabinet has a glass door and is ripe for a nice display, and as I'm working on sprucing up our kitchen and breakfast room, I'm looking to other kitchen cupboards for inspiration on how to treat mine. The idea, of course, is that it be both practical and pretty. Aren't these lovely?

Oh baby, pieces like this one make me want to sell off my worldly possessions and be the old lady who lived in her cupboard.

  4. Thank you for these pictures! I've been trying to figure out how to display things in our cupboard....pictures look so much easier than it really is, especially since ours is not very wide and has really dark wood. I also love the baskets on the top in the second to last picture.

  12. I'm admiring the black cupboards which comes as a suprise to me as I would usually go with white or cream. They seem to say, "yes, I've got attitude!" Lovin' the last photo with the Fortnum and Mason basket. Every girl needs F&M hamper in her kitchen:)

  13. I love glass cupboards that show off everything. I don't always get to use my nice china and I wish they weren't just sitting in the cabinet hidden from view. I love the distressed dark brown one.

  17. Those are fantastic inspiration photos. I love cupboards that have the interior painted a contrasting colour so make the china really pop.
