Inspired by: Black Botanical Posters

Jenny posted about black botanical posters a few weeks ago, and I've been meaning to share I great source I found through Nicole. The Evolution Store's scientific German educational charts were illustrated during the 1950's and 60's and are available in two sizes. I especially like Dog Rose and Apple Blossom (below).

  4. So pretty! In the same vein, I just designed my sister's home office (she's a brand-new doctor!) with black images of skeletal diagrams. Kind of quirky but kind of amazing at the same time!

  10. I love the botanical prints and nautical ones as well. I'm going to be framing some prints for our entry way this summer.

  11. I love the beautiful saturated colour. However, the black background is somewhat sinister. It may sound weird to those that love these posters but I can't get beyond the black background. Botanical prints and black conjures occult. Anyway feel that way?
