I came about
thisclose to having the chair in Elliot's room upholstered in a buffalo check. I wimped out and went with linen in the end (it's
finally coming back from the upholsterer today!), and now I'm seeing buffalo check all over the place.

ReplyDeletethose cozy socks in the second photo are so perfectly cozy :)
Speaking of nursery decor - let's see it! Include pictures of Elliot too, please!
ReplyDeleteI love the check pattern! I would love to see the nursery too! Carla
ReplyDeleteI wondered what you ended up going with... I knew you loved those chairs in Cottage Living!

Congratulations on the arrival of Elliot Claire! She's beautiful & I love her name.
ReplyDeleteYou know a buffalo check pillow would look great against your new linen chairs. I'm sure your choice of linen will be a long lasting one.
That CL image has long been one of my faves and I've ALWAYS wanted buffalo check chairs ... someday. Both ways would be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love that top picture. It makes me want to crawl in bed and relax!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness! Thank you so much for including my bedroom. Made my day :)
ReplyDeleteBest,
Amy Meier
Love a buffalo check and you could probably still work it in with your linen. I have the same image as your first one - I like how the home offices are together but separate! Have fun with your nursery - I remember what fun it was to design ours.
ReplyDeletePlease show us the "afters" of the nursery! I'm sure it is very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteI love the buffalo check pattern, I'm sure you can find a way to add it the nursery, pillow?
ReplyDeleteThat first photo from CL is one of my faves (I really miss CL, still!).
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your nursery will turn out super cute, buffalo check or not.
(Wouldn't it be nice, though,to have a bigger house with more rooms in it to decorate??? I often think that - there are just too many cool things out there, and they don't all fit into my house!) ;-)
Cute blog, lovely interiors and photos.
ReplyDeleteI will be following! Can't wait to see more!!

I love the buffalo check! And you're right it showing up everywhere. Maybe I should cover my soon to be ottoman in it.
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your lovely blog. I'm just new into blogging & have just finished off my own blog on fashion & interior design.
