I'm dying for a chest-mirror-lamp combination in our dining room.

My mom is dying to know what we want for Christmas, so I'm feeling the crunch to come up with one I like.
I lurve the French Directoire Dresser from Wisteria, but it's a little bit out of the price range. I'd love to find something in bleached wood, but I'm not holding my breath.
I'm open to something that can be rehabed from drab to fab with a little paint and some new hardware, so here's to hoping my favorite auction will produce something decent before December 25!

I love the idea of refurbishing old furniture ~ I have my first big project ahead of me ~ refurbishing my grandmothers antique hope chest. Its going to be gorgeous when I am thru with it :) (hopefully) FYI- I love your blog
I really love the look of the "chest-mirror-lamp combination". It looks awesome and there are so many different variations and styles! When you mentioned that you were looking for new hardware, I was reminded of my recent remodel and I remembered what a big difference bringing in some new cabinet hardware made in my kitchen and dining room. I hope you found the chest you were looking for! Good luck!
