Whew, Monday already? Again? Spring is in full-swing and from the looks of my calendar, so is our social life. I always think I'll take the few winter months we do have to get some things done in the house (summer's no good, and fall is all about football) but it didn't really happen this year. I need to get my act together and get a few things done, though.

Brooke of Blueprint Bliss is helping me get motivated to get the guest bedroom going. A friend of her's is making a guest room into a nursery and offered her set of mattresses to us for next-to-nothing. Thanks again, Brooke!
Even though I'm up to my ears in projects, I couldn't help but add a couple more to my list after flipping through the office copy of Martha Stewart's Encyclopedia of Crafts. Have you seen it? It's good. Filled with all of those great projects from the magazine that I can't ever remember came from which issue. All of the templates are online, too.
And we had a lovely Easter weekend!

Hey, Jennifer, you always have the prettiest pics on here. Love them all! And congrats on your cute little bench. I love Hoover Antiques, that's where I found my vintage Thomasville chest of drawers last fall that I fell in love with & brought home.
I too am sorry The Brown House is closing, even though it's mostly out of my price range, it was fun to look. I did buy a Peter's Pottery bunny, which I haven't posted yet, but will. My one and only piece of collectible pottery.
Yeah! I can't wait to see the guest room:)
Oh exciting. Can't wait to the see the room. Also good to hear good reviews of the new Martha book. I've been wanting to get my hands on a copy.
I adore that beautiful guest room!
So glad I could help! Great photos. Can't wait to see your guest room!
Okay- just saw a comment above that The Brown House is closing? When?!?! Will the Peter Pottery be on sale? I have a lot of it and would love to add to my collection!
LOVE that first pic!!! Can't twait to see how the room looks!! xoxo
I feel your pain...summer is no good at all and with several hundred football games in the fall it makes for very little decor time :) I am holding my breath to see your soon to be gorg room
Great images. Love the bedroom! I can't wait to see your guest room!
